Publication Rules for Korean Journal of Art History

Article 1 (Purpose and publication schedule)

The journal is published four times a year, with publication dates on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.

Article 2 (Eligibility for submission)

  1. Authors must hold a master's degree or higher, or equivalent professional qualifications, and must be members of the Association.
  2. Manuscripts may be submitted in Korean, English, Chinese, or Japanese.
  3. Authors may submit only once per year.

Article 3 (Editorial committee)

  1. The editorial committee consists of the Editor-in-Chief and seven or more members.
  2. The editorial committee must include international researchers to promote the internationalization of the journal.

Article 4 (Review process)

  1. First review: Examination of format and length.
  2. Second review: Evaluation by three reviewers.
  3. Re-review: Conducted when necessary.

The review fee is KRW 60,000.

Article 5 (Review grades)

The results of the second review are determined as follows:

  1. Accept: Published without revisions.
  2. Accept with revisions: Publication is possible after minor revisions.
  3. Revise and resubmit: Significant revisions or substantial supplementation is required.
  4. Reject: The manuscript lacks originality or does not fit the journal's scope.

Article 6 (Copyright)

All copyrights of papers published in the journal belong to the Association.
